A man who promised investment deals far too good to be true was arrested Friday morning in Las Vegas. It turns out the man was not even licensed to be selling most of the products.
Norman Karp was arrested by the Secretary of State's Office. Karp is accused of securities fraud, theft, and transacting business as an unlicensed broker. Karp was selling shares in a company called SOOoo Good International.
Karp told one investor his $50,000 investment would be worth $32 million in six months. Karp even told clients he would guarantee their investment.
The Secretary of State's Office suggests you check the status of anyone selling securities.
