There could there be another controversy coming to the Red Rock area. Station Casinos wants to build a new high rise next to the current casino under construction. The tower would be right next to Station Casino's newest resort in Summerlin.
Located near Charleston and the 215, the new high-rise would have up to 600 units. There's no word on how tall it would be.
Station Casinos ran into problems over the height of their Red Rock resort. Neighborhood protests forced the company to settle on a 200 foot tower. Right now there's no timetable on construction of the new high rise, but units will go on sale next spring.
