LAS VEGAS (AP) -- The maker of Golden Tee Golf and other popular arcade games is developing slot machines for the first time, and hoping to reach casino floors sometime next year.

Incredible Technologies, Inc. said Wednesday it will start selling the slot, video poker and keno machines after private equipment tester Gaming Laboratories International certifies them.

Gary Colabuono, a spokesman for the Arlington Heights, Ill.-based company, says Incredible Technologies sees developing gambling games as its best chance to grow.

The company is more well-known for its non-gambling games, including Golden Tee Golf, which was introduced 20 years ago and has since become a staple in many bars nationwide.
