It may not be the final frontier just yet for Star Trek the Experience in Las Vegas afterall.

The Review-Journal reports that the exhibit, which closed at the Hilton in September, may find a new home at the troubled Neonopolis development on Fremont Street.

The developer for Neonopolis confirmed that a deal for the exhibit was close.

Earlier this week, the Las Vegas City Council approved liquor licenses for a lounge and an Italian restaurant to go inside the almost-vacant Neonopolis.
