The two people accused of killing a man, stuffing his body inside a stolen car, and then leaving that car in a stolen trailer are scheduled to face a judge Tuesday morning.
Joey Deom's body was found on June 21 inside a stolen trailer. He was found with gunshot wounds to his head and body. His ex-girlfriend and a man she was seeing are now charged with the brutal crime.
Police believe 26-year-old Matthew Goodner shot Deom when Deom went to his ex-girlfriend's home on the night of June 19.
"To shoot him multiple times and leave a family with what we're in right now... I'm 27 years old and my brother is 24. I never thought I'd be sitting here today in front of a camera trying to explain why my brother, at 24, was taken because of something so petty and stupid," said Joey's brother, Bobby Deom.
Matthew Goodner and Bridgett Cordova are charged with murder with a deadly weapon.
