Judge temporarily overturns hospital H1N1 mask policy

Hospital employees at Sunrise and Southern Hills say they were told if they didn't get the H1N1 vaccine, they'd have to wear masks. Friday, a judge temporarily overturned that policy, saying everyone should have to wear them or nobody should have to.

Last week, the union for hospital employees, Service Employees International, filed a lawsuit against the hospitals declaring the policy a violation of their collective bargaining agreement.

Employees who refused were told they had to wear surgical masks and badges which indicate they have not received the vaccine. A hearing will be held Monday.
